Adele Ward / Andrea Monroe
Adele has been acting, singing and dancing since she realised it was a good way to get attention as a child. She went to ALRA with fellow “Far Out” girls Faye and Alison and then went on to tour extensively in England and Northern Ireland in a variety of musical shows and plays. The highlight was definitely saying the words, “Do you remember this?”, turning round, putting on a mask that smelled musty and singing “Memory” from “Cats” three times a day for six weeks………
Adele is the co founder and Creative Company Manager of Inner Sanctum Productions. She played Jenna in the company’s West End debut “The Tunnel” and fulfilled her dream of playing Antigone in the “The House of Laius” before she really was too old to pull it off.
When she’s not doing that, she is a British Sign Language interpreter in many different settings including behind the cameras (and occasionally in front of them) on the BBC2 programme “See Hear”. Adele has also worked with Graeae Theatre Company (where she met that Newland girl), most memorably on their production of Sarah Kane’s “Blasted” at the Soho Theatre.
In addition to playing Andrea in “Far Out” she is also the Executive Producer and Assistant Director and if you stick a broom up her a*se she’ll sweep the floor as well.
Cally Richardson / Naomi Costantino
Naomi trained initially as a dancer at the Urdang Academy of Performing arts in Covent Garden as a scholarship student. She went on to work as a professional dancer for a few years before crossing over to acting and studying Meisner Technique under Scott Williams of the Impulse Company.
Naomi first met director and writer Faye Hughes when Faye attended an actor showcase at the Actors centre looking to cast for Far Out.
Naomi was asked to read for the part of ‘Cally’ but as Far Out was put on the back burner Naomi became increasingly involved in Faye’s other projects through theatre/production company INNER SANCTUM as both an actress and company choreographer.
Some of Naomi’s Acting Credits to date include ‘Anna‘ in Patrick Marber’s ‘Closer’ and ‘Iona’ in ‘Ancient Lights’ both directed by Scott Williams of the Impulse Company and ‘Ismene’ in ‘The House of Laius’, directed by Faye for Inner Sanctum Productions.
Naomi is excited to be involved in such a groundbreaking project with such a wonderful cast, crew and production team. She is having an absolute blast!
Alicia Colvin / Clare Pensbury
Alicia Colvin has always possessed a keen interest in the art of screen acting and performance. While studying at the Anna Scher Drama School in London, she gained significant knowledge in various acting styles and approaches, including group based work and improvisational skills. This platform enabled her to further a career as a child presenter in which she presented for both Channel Four’s ‘Wise Up’ in 1997 and Viacom’s Nickelodeon during intervals for scheduled television shows in 1998.
During a small break in her acting career, Alicia has been performing as a vocalist and producer/collaborator. Specialising in an eclectic mixture of musical styles, her quirky sound has often been categorised as ‘trip pop’ and be heard at www.myspace.com/colvalis
Alicia is extremely excited about being a part of “Far Out” and is looking forward to all the challenges and experiences that it will bring.
Alison Edmunds / Emma Jenson
Alison graduated from drama school in 2002 along with Adele and Faye. She has worked on projects for Inner Sanctum since 2007, including ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘The Abbey Line’ and is delighted to be working with them again on “Far Out”. She also is co-producer of Antenna Productions which formed in 2008 and recently appeared as the cynical Cinders in their production of ‘It’s Behind You!’ at the Union Theatre. Antenna are currently in rehearsal for two new pieces of theatre to be performed at the Camden Fringe Festival this August, in which Alison appears in the two hander ‘Breaking Legs’. Previous filming credits include ‘Inside’ produced by Work in Progress Productions in 2007.

Andrea Newland / Frankie Taylor
Andrea graduated from drama school in 1995 and has been in the acting business since then. Her career to date has been varied and includes several seasons in weekly rep; Number 1 tours e.g. touring as an Irish school girl in “Once a Catholic” for 6months; adverts (remember Magnum last year? How many ice-creams did she eat in one day? Answers on a postcard!), and much more besides.
You may well remember a few years ago, a short haired and slightly younger Andrea as the stand up comedienne, Maria, the first ever Lesbian in Grange Hill!
Most recently you can see Andrea as Miss Harrington in the indie-horror-flick TORMENTED. She also stars in another Brit flick, DEAD MAN RUNNING starring 5O Cent, “…Or may I call you Fiddy?” due for cinema release in September…so eyes peeled for that one!
Andrea is fluent in British Sign Language and works as a British Sign Language/English Interpreter in a variety of settings; in fact she is currently going through her final stages of training. In fact it was in this field that she met the delightful Adele Ward – and constantly abuses their friendship by forcing Adele to help her with her studies….”that’s what friends are for tralala…”
Wendy Allan / Grace Oxlade
Wendy’s background is in dance, which remains the main focus of her career. She has performed and competed with various b-girl crews and dance companies and toured Lindy Hop concerts throughout Europe.
Fliss Walton / Jen Stuart
Fliss is delighted to add Far Out to her list of credits, which include Natasha in Holby City, Louise in the international award winning thriller-short A Naked Eye and Alicia in the comedy noir Expiry Date. Her theatre credits include: Emma Bovary in Breakfast with Emma (Tine Out Critics Choice) and Desdemona in Othello, both for The Rosemary Branch Theatre; Portia in The Merchant of Venice (C Company); Brook in Popcorn (Baron’s Court Theatre); Adele in Shakers - Restirred (Landor Theatre); Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest and Lady Macduff in Macbeth both for Changeling Theatre. As co-founder of the physical theatre company Conspirators of Pleasure she devised and collaborated in their mime-based shows for several years, highlights included: On Reflection for HM The Queen at the Royal Albert Hall and playing Lady M and Hecate in their Macbeth Project. Fliss also looks forward to a new show as with her writing partner Bryony Thompson as one half of the raconteur duo, Irony and Bliss.
Michelle Khisa / Judith Ashun
Michelle, 25, trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and Richmond Drama School. Other roles Michelle has played include King Lear in “Lear”, Ester in “Intimate Apparel”, Serafina in “The Rose Tattoo” and Coupler in The Relapse. Her hobbies include writing, film editing, video games, travel, painting, playing the guitar and song writing.
Faye Hughes / Kat Williams
Faye Hughes trained at ALRA. Since graduating she has worked extensively in theatre and the recorded arts. A compelling and dynamic playwright and director, her work has been performed both on tour and in London’s West End. The Artistic Director of groundbreaking company Inner Sanctum, Faye has written and directed Far Out and is also playing music journalist Kat who is considerably cooler than she is.
